The land survey for the Parks Department of Dublin City Council was to establish areas for all weather pitches within the park. We also surveyed the entrance to provide access facilities for the disabled.
Brickfield Park is located in Dublin City, between the Crumlin Road and Mourne Road.
Brickfield Park extends to 11 hectares (27 acres) and was developed in the early 1970’s getting its name from a brickyard located there during the 1930’s.
Developed mainly as a sports ground in a heartland of soccer, there is also an all-weather pitch and a well-used children’s playground, both of which were added in the 1990’s. A main avenue of lime trees and the extensive perimeter plantations are now becoming well established.
